I am running the Trans Pennine Challenge with my son, Rory, on the 22nd-23rd June 2013. We will be running 100km from Manchester to Sheffield via Stockport, Glossop, Barnsley and Rotherham. I am running for Macmillan Cancer Support and Rory is running for Help for Heroes.

Both charities are important to us individually, I have lost many  friends and family to cancer, and Rory as a Public Services student at Sheffield Hillsborough College feels his charity is very important to him.
