Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

In a moment of middle-aged madness I agreed to enter this event. For those of you who want to relish in the torture I will suffer, visit the website letapedutour.com. I can guarantee the idiotic smile on my picture will be replaced with a grimace of pain after 178km and 4000m plus of climbing in the Pyrenees, always assuming I don't get swept up by the 'Broom wagon'.

My chosen charity is Medecin Sans Frontieres whose members are first into the hotspots of the world to offer medical help. Not unconnected is the fact that two of my children are medics and may help out when qualified to do so. I have been supporting the charity for many years.

All contributions gratefully received.
