<p>Mission completed!</p>
<p>It was a fantastic day: blue skies and sunny, and the crowds were unbelievable, lining the streets and cheering for the whole 42km! I finished in 3 hours 56 minutes, which I was very happy with.</p>

<p>Hi! I have been lucky enough to win a ballot entry to run the 2012 London Marathon with Investec. In return I have pledged to raise money for charity.</p>
<p>I have chosen the JDI Foundation as my named charity. The JDI Foundation acts to inspire and facilitate people in South Africa, and globally, to make a difference in local disadvantaged communities - by contributing time, skills, funds and most importantly, energy. <p>I will also contribute towards the South African Education and Environment Project (<a href="http://www.saep.org/">http://www.saep.org/</a>), which is dedicated to serving children and youth in the impoverished informal settlements (townships) of Cape Town through academic support and personal development programmes.</p>
<p>Any amount you could spare, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.</p>
