Baxters Loch Ness Marathon 2013 · 29 September 2013 ·

Ending homelessness in Scotland, one person at a time. Every year, thanks to people like you, we support over 7,000 people in Scotland. We are there for people at every stage in their journey as we seek to prevent homelessness, intervene in crisis and sustain people in their own homes.

Story

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone for sponsoring me and giving me the motivation to keep going! 5:14!

Thanks for donating!

This year I'll be running the Loch Ness Marathon, the first distance I have ever run in an organised event, to raise money for Bethany.

Bethany saves lives every year with its work with the homeless, rehabilitating people into homes and into society whatever their background, with highly regarded, professional services.

In Fife, where I live, Bethany works with over 500 people every year.

Homelessness is an issue close to my heart, and it's an honour to be able to fundraise for a charity that works so effectively in this area right where I live.

So what are you getting for your money? Most people will be wondering if I can do it or not. Here's some incentives for me, and some incentives for you - hopefully we can raise a significant amount and really make a difference!

If I hit £500, I will shave my head, and do the entire run with a pink mohawk.

If I hit £1000, I will do the run in a rabbit onesie.

If I hit £1500, I'll run it with a pair of y-fronts on top.

The photos will be terrifying!
