Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The four of us have entered a team to participate in the 50k Thames Path Challenge walk on Saturday 29th September.  The walk will start in Putney, following the Thames Path through to Runnymede. All four of us will walk the 50km course together as a team and aim to complete the task in a time of between 11 and 12 hours.  We're all very much aware that this will be a tough challenge and the weather could play a big part. The event is organised to raise funds for the work that The Papworth Trust carry out providing choice and promoting independence for disabled people.  Barclays will be matching the funds that the four of us raise as a team (subject to a maximum of £3,000).  The Trust aim to raise £50,000 in total from the efforts of all of the walkers and their sponsors.
