Story
Hi,
I've been cycling now for just over 18 months, last year I cycled more than 3000 miles and cycled in the Prudential Ride London 100 and the Tour of Cambridge (85 miles). A member of a local cycling club I'm out 1-2 times a week all year round. Recently completed a sportive in Rutland which although was just 58 miles I climbed a total of 4,300 ft. My last event was the Welsh Velothon back on the 9th July which was a grueling 88 hilly miles from and around Cardiff. Table mountain climb of just 2.6 miles took me 29 mins due to the gradient but I made it to the summit without stopping!
During the last weekend in July I was out both days covering 112 miles on Saturday with climbs totalling 6100ft and on Sunday covering a modest 46 miles. So I'm getting in plenty of training for the 62mile/100km ride. My mileage for this year so far is 1,511 miles in 92.5 hrs with an elevation gain of 50k ft.
I'd really appreciate any donations you can spare to support me and The Prince's Trust Charity. Thank you.
