<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: gray; font-size: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">This daring act is all about defeating dementia and the money raised will go to our Tesco Charity of the Year, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland, as part of their Leap Year Challenge.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: gray; font-size: 11pt;">This year 100,000 people will develop dementia. Together, Alzheimer's Society, Alzheimer Scotland and Tesco will help make sure they don't face it alone.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>

It is caused by disease of the brain; symptoms include loss of memory, confusion and problems with speech and understanding. It is progressive and eventually terminal.</span></p>
