Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Hazel and I are training hard to take part in the London Marathon on 22 April 2012. This will be our first Marathon and we will be running with friends in aid of the Foyle Hospice in Ireland that provides palliative and end-of-life care for patients suffering from Cancer.

Thank you for your generous donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Marathon done now and what an experience it was. 26.2 miles is a long way to run, but with the help of thousands of cheering spectators, the challenge is so much more enjoyable. If you ever feel like running a marathon, London is the one to do.

Thanks to everyone, your contribution will help the Hospice continue to provide the necessary care for the many families that need the support.
