Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be participating in the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday 14th March 2010.
The charity I have chosen to run for is Epilepsy Bereaved. They are a small national charity who provide specialised and important work across the UK.
Epilepsy affects 1 in every 131 people and each year in the UK more than 1,000 people die an Epilepsy related death. That's 3 people every single day.
For funding, Epilepsy Bereaved relies mainly on its members - people who have already experienced bereavement through an epilepsy related death. As it is a small organisation, it is often overlooked by national funding bodies and sponsors, but as it also covers the whole of the UK, companies and trusts which support only local organisations are unwilling to fund it.
Please would you be kind enough to support Epilepsy Bereaved’s vital work by way of a donation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
