<p>This summer I will be&nbsp;taking part in&nbsp;the <a href="http://www.thethreepeakschallenge.co.uk/">Three Peaks Challenge</a> in aid of the <a href="http://www.fhaonline.org.uk">Family Holiday Assoiation</a>, a fantastic charity which gives a much needed break (usually at&nbsp;the British seaside) to low income families in difficult circumstances who need the chance to get away for a few days and regroup as&nbsp;family unit.</p> <p>The three peaks are the tallest in Scotland, England and Wales: Ben Nevis, Scarfel Pike and Snowden, and&nbsp;the challenge is to get up and down all of them within 24 hours. For those interested, this will consist of about 3 kilometers of up, with about 40 kilometers of sideways thrown in. I may live to regret it.</p> <p>Please give what you can, no matter how small the donation. Every little helps, and it's all going to an excellent cause.</p>
