<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Over 100 staff, parents, students, and friends of St. George's school are coming together on 21st April 2012 to run, ride, walk, or stagger 10 metres for every serviceman killed or wounded in action in Afghanistan over the last 7 years. The MoD figure for casualties at the end of 2011 is 2209, meaning we will be doing a course of 22.09km – a bit more than a half marathon. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The school is supporting The Soldiers Charity </span><a href="http://www.soldierscharity.org/"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">http://www.soldierscharity.org/</span></a><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"> which provides support for soldiers in need. They are raising money by a number of ‘Curry’ themed events across the country, and St George’s, where my children go to school, is one of them.</span></p>
