A good friend of mine retired last year after serving 33 years in the Royal Navy only to discover he had to undergo major surgery followed by a long period of therapy for cancer! 

He has now made a full recovery and is planning to run/jog the Bristol half Marathon on 11 September - in a Bob the Builder outfit!  I am supporting Paul by running the same - god help me!!
