Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Almost 30 years ago my Dad was one of them.  Parkinson's has taken a lot from him and his family but Parkinson's UK is leading the work to find a cure and it is closer than ever.

When I was embarking on my lengthy rehabilitation from my second cruciate ligament surgery in three years I was asked by my physio what my goal was at the end of it. A contract with Hibs seemed unlikely so I settled on trying to run a marathon in aid of Parkinson's research. Please help me make all the pain worthwhile...
