Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign - The Marsden March · 27 March 2011 ·

We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Our new year's resolution is to get fit and we can't think of a more inspiring way to do it then by raising money for such a worhty cause.  Our son Andrew has been treated at The Royal Marsden in Sutton since September 2010.  Only a short time but enough to make a massive impact on us.  We don't have much money but we really want to give something back.  Andrew has received such fantastic care and we have been shown nothing but support since we came to the hospital.

We have first hand experience of the new children's unit that has opened but we know that there is so much more to do and would love the money raised to go towards these new facilities.  We also know how important the latest technology is in helping to fight cancer and look forward to the Marsden obtaining the new cyber-knife!

We are working on getting a large team together to walk for what we are now calling Andrew's Army.
