Hey...just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made a donation to my page.  It is such a worthy cause and i am so happy i managed to raise a great amount of money.  I completed the run in 1 hr 51min, which isn't as good as hoped, but is better than last year!!

Basically i'm running ( jogging ) the half marathon on Sunday 6th September, i will be raising as much money as possible for The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.  The reason i have choosen The Beatson is beacause my brother's mate David ( and you could call him my mate, if he lets me ) went through a tough time recently with his gorgeous wife Nicky.  However, my bro said that David was overwelmed with the care and support Nicky received and i thought....what the hell is running 13 miles when a young family has to go through such a tough time. 

 

So,  i want to do my bit for the McKendrick family and raise some money as a thank you to those who helped treat Nicky and helped her on the road to recovery.

 

Get your hands in your pockets.....what recession???
