However, this year I thought I'd really go for it, so I have organised 'The Big Carol Sing' - a twelve hour continuous Carol Singing marathon on Friday 3rd December. Between 10am and 10pm we'll be singing at least 240 carols. Loads of people from the community are involved. As well as the Choir and Junior Choir from the church, we've got Fawcett Primary School, university students, local businesses and the local old people's home taking part. We are really hoping to make a decent sum of money for two fantastic charities.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 16px; margin-left: 0px; outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-color: transparent; line-height: 19px; background-position: initial initial; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">EACH do a fantastic job supporting children and families in the most difficult of circumstances. Not only do they provide incredible 'end of life' care for children at home or in the hospice, but they also do masses to support the whole family through the challenge of a child facing a life-threatening illness. They offer music therapy, specialist play and a whole range of other therapies and continue to support families when they are going through bereavement.
