I am running the West Highland Way Race again this year for the second time. I would like to beat last years time for the full 95 miles from Milngavie to Fort William (22:57:12) and run sub 22 hours at least...this race starts at 1am on the 18/06/16 and has a 35 hour time limit. The next big Race on my Radar is Glenmore 24, this is a 24 hour race in Glenmore, Avimore, Scotland. I came 3rd in the 12 hour race last year running 68 miles and this year I would like to target 100miles+...depending how training goes post WHWR (which will be during a very busy time for me with uni, work and qualifying!) I'd like to give it my best and run 120+ miles...this race is run as a 4 mile loop continuously on trails around stunning scenery and starts at Midday on the 03/09/16 and finishes midday on 04/09/16...I have chosen the charity MND Scotland as I have had the privilege of caring for many patients with this awful disease in my job and during my nursing training. I have always been totally in awe at the strength and character in these people with such a sinister diagnosis, extremely humbling. I would like to raise as much money as possible to help those affected and their family's. Thanks so much for sponsors x
