Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Cancer will affect 1 in 3 of us we are told, in truth, we are all affected.
I lost my wife Sue, to cancer in September 2010. Sues had primary breast cancer in April 2008. She had to have her right breast removed, followed by Chemo and Radio Therapy and early Menapaours. Sue the fighter was back to work before Christmas 2008. More problems in September 2009 had us back in hospital and Sue now had an inoppripal Thyroid cancer & more radio therapy. Early spring back in hospital with secondary breast cancer and more chemo. Not once did sue ever complain about her condition, even at the end 9th September 2010 24 years and one month to the day we married.
Just over a year later, a good friend and work colleague of Sue’s, Pat Mee was taken by this devastating Condition.
I and a good friend Curly (Dave Blake) will paddle the Caledonian Canal the Grate Glen. Starting May 13th 2012 in aid of Cancer Research. We aim to take 3 days wild camping and hopping for good weather.
We all know someone who has suffered with Cancer, I have friends and other family that have had Cancer, some win the fight some don't!
So please dig deep and make donation now.
