Story

Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully for donating.

On April 29th this year I will be attempting to complete the Milton Keynes Marathon in under 3 hours 30 minutes. Ok, it isn't world record pace, but for an amateur like me I will be pushing myself to the limit.

I have been training hard since October last year and at the moment feel like I am on course to do it!!

My reasons for running the Marathon in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust are simple:

- As a young teenager, I suffered from Hodgkins Disease now known as Hodgkins Lymphoma, which is a fairly common type of cancer.

- The Teenage Cancer Trust provides specialist treatment for young people, many who are in the same position as I was, if not worse, to help them through life changing experiences such as this

- Early in January this year, I lost my Grandad to cancer, a great man, who I know is willing me on

- Lastly, I love running and the thought of pushing myself to my physical limit intrigues me!!! I am not just going to finish, I am going to finish in the fastest time possible

Keep Up to Date

I do regular blogs and videos letting you know how my training is going and updating you on the fundraising targets. These can all be viewed at www.recklesstimes.co.uk

I am living proof that the Teenage Cancer Trust and other charities like them do great things for young people, any support you can give would be greatly appreciated
