COCO’s purpose is to provide education to create the opportunity for children to break the cycle of poverty. We are currently working with communities in remote areas of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Our vision is a world where every child, everywhere has access to quality education.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Soooo... here we go again... Mount Kilimanjaro this time.  Kilimanjaro is the tallest free standing mountain in the world and therefore is a suitable challenge.

I am climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of COCO (Comrades of Children Overseas).  COCO was founded by former olympian Steve Cram in 2000.  It sets out to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa and Kenya.  COCO's main aim is 'to alleviate the suffering of children living in poverty, through health and education initiatives.'

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
