Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

My brother-in-law, Andy Leonard, died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 12th.  He was stubborn and infuriating, caring and loving, determined and passionate (about things he cared about, and I don't just mean beer and curry!).  I have known him for 20 years and grew to love and respect him.  It hurts every time I remember that I am never going to see him again, and I know that all the rest of his extended family and his friends will feel the same.

Andy wasn't really a 'flower' person, so we have suggested that friends might like to make a donation to one of his favourite charities. There's this one, supporting people with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a genetic disorder which both Andy and his dad had, causing the heart muscle to thicken, creating many other knock-on problems; and two other sites, for Arrhythmia and Cancer Research respectively.

We all know how keen Andy was on avoiding tax wherever legally possible, so don't forget to Gift Aid.
