St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £10million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

Earlier this year my wonderful granddad George passed away. It was an incredibly difficult time for my family but was made bearable by the superb care he and we received from the staff of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester. As a result, my view of what a hospice could and should be has been totally transformed and if a loved one is suffering from a terminal illness, trust me, this is the kind of place where you would want them to be cared for.

I am sad that my granddad will not be there on the dockside to wave me off when I set sail on September 13 on my 35,000-mile adventure in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

But I hope you will be able to spare a few pennies or pounds to sponsor me for this worthwhile cause and help St Wilfrid’s keep up their tremendous work.

Thank you my hearties!
