Old Newtonians Cycle To Lands End · 31 July 2010

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.

Story

The 31st July 2010 will see a group of the Old Newtonians rugby union team set off from their club house in Leicester Forest East and cycle the 322 miles to Lands End, arriving on 7th August 2010. We're doing this for Adrian Smith; known to us as AJ, our Old Newts team mate who was recently diagnosed with and currently recieving treatment for Bone Cancer.

AJ's type of cancer is extremely rare and almost unheard of occuring in people, yet he is battling bravely and heroically in the prime of his life.

We want to raise money to help raise the awareness of Bone Cancer and support for the Limbless Association, two charities that work tirelessly to help people with serious, and life changing conditions.

If you can give anything to help each of us reach our personal targets of £400 each, the Old Newts team can gift thousands to these great causes.

Thank you so much for your support.
