A very dear friend of ours, Emma Jenkins, was diagnosed with breast cancer HERII positive in October 2008.  She went through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and herceptin treatment, which lasted about 2 years in total.

Odyssey is a very small charity who rely heavily on donations, which allows them to provide courses which aim to help the participants overcome the emotional and physical devastation caused by the illness, by use of the great outdoors.

We would obviously like to raise not only the awareness of what they offer, but also funds to help these invaluable courses to continue.  We are aiming to raise at least £3000 so if we could get 300 people to sponsor us £10 it would help us to meet this target.

It goes without saying that any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

This is a massive challenge for us both and knowing that we can help in this way is motivating us to train hard for the expedition.
