Thanks to all who supported me for the Charity bike ride i managed to raise over £500 and as a group we are on course to raise over £10.000 for Harrogate Hospital Elmwood word..
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in a Charity Bike ride. (I have a new bike since the photo was taken)
A friend of mine Steve Hardcastl's dad passed away last year following a long illness. He had so many health issues, but all these were primarily caused by suffering from severe leg ulcers over a long period of time.
We will be cycling coast to coast from Workington to Sunderland, over a distance of 147 miles. This will take place over 3 days, starting from Saturday August 28th and finishing on Monday 30th August. We have 28 cyclists, 3 support vehicles with drivers, grateful contributions from businesses and so on. For more information, please visit the website http://www.elmwoodc2c.org.uk
We am aiming to raise much needed funds for Elmwood Unit, Harrogate Hospital. Steve's Dad spent several years, almost every other day, visiting the Unit to have his ulcers dealt with. The staff were brilliant to him and many others in the same position.
The unit has general funding but do rely heavily on contributions to buy the things that can really make a big difference. The money raised will buy essential equipment for sufferers of leg ulcers.
So, I would appreciate if family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances reading this page will contribute in helping me reach my target.
Combined with money raised by the other riders, it would be fantastic if we could make some significant difference.
Many Thanks to you all.
Andy
