The Ben Kinsella Trust is an educational charity set up following the tragic murder of Ben aged 16 in 2008. Our mission is to use the true and powerful story of Ben Kinsella to educate young people about the consequences of choices, so they stay safe and away from crime.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is the third year in a row I will be competing in the London Marathon.

Again I am representing the London Ambulance Service, the chosen charity this year is the Ben Kinsella Trust.

After Ben Kinsella was tragically murdered in June 2008, his family set up this Trust in his name. Ben was only sixteen when he was stabbed to death in an unnecessary act of horrific violence that shocked the nation. He had just finished school, was predicted and received top grades and was just about to begin a life full of promise. This was cut short by the devastating and growing problem that is knife crime.

The charities primary aim is to stop knife crime by educating children by making them understand its devasting effects.

Working for the London Ambulance Service, we see first hand the aftermath of knife crime, dealing with incidents everyday.

This new relationship between the London Ambulance Service and the Ben Kinsella Trust can only help raise the profile of this important issue.

I am proud to be representing this charity.

I have been training hard, and I hope to finish in less than 4:30 this year.

please donate what you can, no amount too small.

Thank you

Andy
