Story

On March 29th - 30th, Andy will be aiming to break the world record for rowing for 24 hours on a rowing machine in the Male 19 years and under Category. To do this he will need to row over 241000 metres. He will also be joined by Richard Boydon aiming to break a British record for rowing 24hrs record.

Not only will it be a challenge for himself but he will also be racing for Solent University Boat Club and challenging Will Homer from Southampton University Boat Club.

Both guys are racing in different categories and going for different records but will also be challenging each other to see who can raise the most for charity, so kind of like a 2 part varsity race.

The Event will be taking place in the Solent SU building, in the wifi area, any support on the day will be a great help!

So give us much as you can afford and support SBC and SOLENT!!!!

The race will begin at 12.00 pm, and obviously finish at 12.00pm on the next day. There will also be a 200m challenge on the day for people to come down and test themselves which will also be raising money for charity.
