Hope UK enables children and young people to make drug-free choices by training volunteers throughout the UK to become Drug Educators in their own communities. They also help parents, teachers, youth and family workers to do their own drug prevention work.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to be competing in the Bridlington Half Marathon on 18th October 2009, and would like to use the opportunity to raise some money for Hope UK.

Hope UK is a national drugs education charity committed to 'Enabling young people to make drug-free choices'. I work for this charity as a voluntary drugs educator, i.e. I don't get paid, and I work with groups who want to know more about drugs and alcohol. Hope UK is dependant upon grants and charitable donations. To find out more about Hope UK why not check out their website.

Please support Hope UK as I attempt my first Half Marathon.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
