My event was successfully completed on Friday 11th December.  I visited all 10 Bristol based BNI Chapters under my steam. Many thanks to everyone who supported me both with money but also for the texts, emails and phone calls.

I'm a member of BNI which is a business networking organisation who meet for breakfast every week. There are a number of meetings held in the Bristol area on Tuesday to Friday mornings. My aim is to visit all 10 meetings in 1 week, under my own steam, between 0645 and 0830 between 7-11 December 2009.

Each morning I will leave my house in Henleaze in order to arrive at the first meeting at 0645. On 3 of the days I will run and on 1 day I will cycle.  I expect to cover approximately 63 miles cycling 25 and running 38 (almost 3 half marathons).

It will be a physically demanding challenge - but something that is achievable.

I'm raising money for 2 charities. Help for Heroes who provide practical direct support for our wounded servicemen and women. As an former soldier myself I know that our service personnel are prepared to give and risk everything representing Britain and our Government overseas. The money raised by Help for Heroes shows all servicemen and women that their bravery and commitment is recognised and helps make life easier for those who are unfortuante enough to be wounded or injured in action.
