Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page which I set up in Nov, 2009.

I've been to Haiti twice now and the needs of children due to prevailing poverty is enormous. One in 5 children die before they reach 5 years old. Reninca Hill (a young teacher from Surbiton) is out there with her husband working tirelessly supporting the House of Blessing - a home for sick and disabled children established from the funds for the Haiti Hospital Appeal. I was so struck by Reninca's enthusiasm and committment to this cause. I know how challenging it is to work in this very difficult environment.

Little did I know that Haiti would hit the news in January. The needs of haitians since the earthquake struck are  overwhelming and the resources from this appeal will be channelled to relief efforts as well.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now... thank you!!
