MPN Voice leads the way in supporting people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), with accurate information and emotional support. We're funding research toward better treatments and one day a cure. Most importantly we offer hope to those affected by MPNs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Both Wendy and I have abseiled down 469 feet, the tallest abseiling event in the UK. But we are about to do it again, this time, going face forward!  The event takes place at Guys & St Thomas' Hospital on 27th June 2010.

MPD support is a charity working along side patients with Myeloproliferative disorders (MPD's).  MPD's are a rare type of blood cancer. These disorders can cause strokes, heart attack, recurrent miscarriage and debilitating fatigue, and can lead to leukaemia or bone marrow failure.

MPD offer emotional support and raise money to fund the quest for better treatments and a cure.  Research, which is taking place here in the UK, would not be possible without the charity’s financial contribution.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So we would be delighted with your help!
