My story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. After having to pull out last year i once again entered the london Marathon. This year will be more difficult as i am running with itb in both knees, but with a great physio and a boat load of determination i will get round.

I am still running for  the South West Children's Heart Circle as they are a local, fairly small charity but do so much for the children and families they support.  Based on Ward 32 of the Bristol Children's Hospital, the Heart Circle provide much needed extra funding towards equipment, which is outside the NHS budget, used during operations and treatments, as well as the basic much needed items parents may need while staying on the ward.

They also organise parties and days out - bowling, the zoo, horse riding and activity weekends - for children who have been treated at Bristol.

So please dig deep and help me to make a difference for these children and their families.

South West Children's Heart Circle

South West Children's Heart Circle

Charity Registration No. 267323

The Heart Circle supports children undergoing cardiac care at the Bristol Children's Hospital, and their families. It covers an area from Cornwall to South Wales. The charity provides support from parents who have had similar experiences, social events, a caravan for short breaks and equipment to make the children's lives easier.
