Well apparently she’d scale down the 66ft Earl’s Court iconic building to raise money for charity, and not because she was pressured into doing it!
Bat girl here, Ange’s alter ego... Ange tells me that she has to raise £190 before 5 September in order to have all of the safety equipment necessary to abseil down Earl’s Court in order to raise money for Retail Trust, the only charity helping all 3 million people in retail AND her place of employment... (in that order and by no means influenced by marketing messages).
Ange assures me that she has not been roped into doing this, bat (but) I’m not convinced. You see, batgirl has no problem with heights, ropes or extremely unattractive harnesses... (safety first), she has more of a problem if they’re nonexistent – which they will be if she doesn’t raise the money!
So I need your help, no Joke-r... please help Ange raise the money so her alter ego Batgirl, can safely abseil down Earl’s Court! Who will be her dark knight in shining armour?
As previously alluded to, Ange has by no means been pressured into doing this. She was told something about a P45 but being from Australia she doesn’t really know what that means. We can’t have her Robin banks to make ends meet.
So please help Ange, not only will she lose her job, she’ll get deported back to Australia, which let’s face it, opens all kinds of old wounds that she’d rather not confront.
A message from Ange
If the puns and job loss threats weren’t enough to make you donate, then surely knowing that I have to dress as bat girl is incentive enough to throw some money into a great cause!
Thanks for your support – each donation will receive a signed copy of “Abseiling for beginners, by Cliff Slide...”
(I’ll stop)
