My husband has suffered with this debilitating disease for almost 24 years. He and others we know also have ME and some individuals who have had this disease at its most severe have died from it. There is a lot about the disease that is not widely understood and though much good research is currently underway more research must be conducted to reach further understanding of the disease; how it works, what is effected in the person's DNA etc; establishing tests to confirm diagnosis and lastly but not least of all establishing a cure.
