A group of ladies from the Holistic Centre at (most who have suffered the effects of cancer) plan to take part in the Middlesbrough PCT 3K Fun Run on .  We would like to find sponsors to raise funds for the Holistic Centre.

The Holistic Care Centre is a self funding charity, based on the grounds of the in .  The centre provides complimentary healthcare treatments, support and advice to cancer patients and their main carers free of charge.  There are a number of complimentary healthcare treatments on offer at the centre which help patients to deal with many of the side effects of their chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatments.  Around 150 treatments are given each week and the centre needs to raise £200,000 per annum to continue to provide this very worthwhile and beneficial service.  Although the centre is on a hospital site it does not receive any NHS funding and relies totally on charitable donations.

Any one who would like to take part and get themselves sponsored for the Holistic Centre would be welcome.  All we ask that you turn up 15 minutes earlier than the start time wearing a pink T-shirt.  You will be given the Holistic Centre logo to pin onto your T-shirt.  The sponsor forms are available from the Holistic Centre.  Please telephone 854839 for details.
