Hi all. Mission accomplished!!!! Hills so steep almost humanly impossible to get up! Going down was so scary walking was my only option. Yes it was the toughest thing I've ever done but the scenery almost made up for it. Thanks again to everyone who have sponsored me. Yorkshire cancer centre is very grateful x

Due to the unrest in Egypt. Which means it is a far harder challenge as most of it is uphill and staying in a tent for one night. All told I'll be cycling 318 km. Still I couldn't drop out now too much for Yorkshire Cancer centre to loose. X

HI everyone,I've just been for my injections to the surgery I've had one in each arm! I've cycled 30 miles so far and been given advise from a lovely kind couple. Bum numb !! Hey what's that compared to what people go through at St James's!!

Updated on May 4th 2011 at 3:32 PM from the JustGiving API

4th May. Hi I have reached the minimum target with the cheques I've sent direct but want to keep going to try and raise as much as possible . Taken bike in for service so will have to go on exercise bike for now.

HI Everyone,Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.I may be mad but felt doing the Cycle the Nile fund raising event 19-27November 2011 would be my way as a thank you to St.James's hospital. It is a wonderful place and needs all the support it can get.Husband John has just finished 8 weeks of Radiotherapy for Prostate cancer at st.James's institute of Oncology. It is the biggest purpose built cancer centre in europe

I will be cycling distances averaging 75km a day over successive days in hot temperatures and over hilly and rugged terrain,I will be in the saddle for up to 8 hours a day!!!That is for 414kms(257.25miles)

My training will start now as all I am used to is a few miles on the odd Sunday on my lovely new bike.So the training has to be taken into concideration when you are thinking how much to sponsor me for !!

Please don't wait until near the time as the earlier I know how much I am raising the better in order for me to think up fund raising events.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
