Tuberous Sclerosis Complex(TSC) is a genetic condition that can lead to growths in various organs of the body. Most commonly affected are brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs. These growths are also known as tumours but are not cancerous.

TSC can mildly affect people (they might not know they have it) Other people can be affected by epilepsy, learning delay, Autism, ADHD, Behaviour  problems. It is also known as a life limiting condition. There is no cure for this and it cant be treated. Can only treat the symptoms.

Craig and myself will be running the Great North Run on September 10th  for this Charity. As this condition heavily affects our family. Our 3 children have the condition as myself my sister and my mam. Who sadly died last year due to kidney failure caused by growths on her kidneys.

So this challenge has a personal meaning for myself, Craig and all our family.

Please support and sponsor us.

Thank yoU
