Hello All!

We are a large group of friends who have have decided to be brave and take part in the Womans 10K on May 9th in Glasgow.

As most of you will know, our Fabulous Friend, Yvonne Stewart, has recently been diagnosed again with Hodgkins Lymphoma, and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow.

The care and attention Yvonne has received has been trully amazing and we, her friends, would like to be able to give something back to them, for looking after our pal.  We are all very proud of her and would like to be able to help the people who are helping her.

Now please note.....Some of us run all the time, whereas most of us cannot run the length of ourself, so please keep this in mind when donating! :-)

No donation is ever too small and we know Yvonne will be extremely gratefull & touched by the gesture.

P.S - we are planning a fun day after the race at The Cartha Queens Rugby Club, which is close to Haggs Castle in the South Side of Glasgow, so please feel free to pop by and join in the fun and meet the runners! :-)  The Charity Funday starts at 1.30PM.  There will be a  raffle and a charity auction, a Bouncy castle and face painting for the kids and the bar will of course be open for the adults.  All proceeds of course going to The Beatson.
