My husband and Alex's and Sarah's dad Graham was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in May 2013 after 4 months of intense back pain and finally a diagnosis of a fractured spine and multiple myeloma.  We knew very little of this very rare cancer and Multiple Myeloma UK gave us lots of information and we were able to join a discussion forum to get advice from people in a similar situation to us which was a lifeline, especially early on, which prepared us for all the stages of treatment. Graham is currently in remission and still on the Myeloma XI trial and on maintenance drugs including a small dose of chemo. At our run this time last year Graham was recovering from his stem cell transplant and was quite ill.  I have no idea how we would have coped without Myeloma Uk.   Please support this very worthy cause.
