<p>Hi Everyone,</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;"><strong>DUE TO LACK OF SNOW THE 5 PEAK CHALLENGE HAS BEEN CANCELLED BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THEY HAVE TRANSFERRED OUR REGISTRATION TO THE DSUK SKIATHON AT BRAEHEAD ON THE 11TH JUNE, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT.</strong></span></p>
<p>Frank and I and some friends are doing a DSUK skiathon at Braehead on the 11th June. It is a team of 6 to do 2012 runs which will reduce on the amount of money raised. This will be done in 6 hours!! Please spread the word. </p>
<p>You are possibly asking why this is one of my favourite charities. Well I will explain briefly!</p>
<p>Frank and I have a daughter Rhiannon who has Autism with Additional Complex Disabilites. Six years ago while staying in the Cairngorms we visited DSUK, straight away we got Rhiannon on the slopes to try skiing, since then we have never looked back.</p>
<p>Not only do we always use DSUK but ES Adaptive in Verbier.</p>
<p>Rhiannon gets so much benefits from skiing physically and socially. We can only thank everybody involved from the bottom of our hearts for all the help, support and fun giving to Rhiannon and us as a family to help Rhiannon achieve what we thought impossible! Rhiannon now has the joy, confidence and ability to ski with Dad, Mum and brother Finlay !!</p>
<p>Which now brings me on to my final massive thank yous as this would now be possible without the help and support of you all donating to this fantastic charity. </p>
