Bright Horizons Family Solutions created the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children in 1999 to help achieve our mission of making a difference to the lives of children and families where we live and work, beyond the normal reach of the Company’s child care centres.
The Foundation in Europe was launched in August 2005, with a particular focus to help children and families in repeat cycles of temporary and inadequate accommodation. Our mission is important and urgent. Too many children in the UK are affected by repeat homelessness; the number of children living in overcrowded households exceeds one in ten, these children often have no access to safe play. Please help us to make a difference in the lives of children by digging deep and donating what you can.

The Children's Centre at GSI have organised a Walk On Event which will be held from the 18th - 20th July 2011. Over the course of the three days the babies and children in groups will walk from the Children's Centre up to St James Park.
The money we raise through sponsors and donations will be given to Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. The Foundation creates Bright Spaces (temporary accomodation) for children and families with a goal of improving the quality of life for at - risk children.
