This is our second annual entry into the Monmouth Raft Race. Last year we had one raft entered, but the event proved so popular amongst staff that this year we have entered two rafts. We are the Heroes and the others are the Villains. In addition to raising money for St Davids Hospice Foundation, we also want to beat the other team! There are prizes for the best dressed/decorated crew and raft and for whoever completes the course in the fastest time. Gordon has built both rafts, so technically there should be no advantage for either team - however ours will have matching chairs and lighter wood!! Chairs are a new addition this year - last year we sat our cushions, which was not very comfortable. We will be posting photos and the results on the hotel blog in due course.
