We've joined together to raise money for Action for Children UK.
On Sunday 23rd September 2018 50+ runners will take part in the inaugural Code Red Charity Cup as part of the Stafford 10k. For many of us, this will be our first 10k race and we have been training very hard in anticipation of the event. The event was organised to raise much needed funds and awareness for the UK charity, Action for Children.
The mission of the charity is to help disadvantaged children across the UK, before they are born until they are into their twenties.
They support through fostering or adoption – and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse.
This early intervention continues in young adulthood and helps to stop neglect, abuse, addiction and homelessness.
The charity also focusses on making life better for children with disabilities.
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
