Story
Three Warrington High School boys Earl, Bradley and Alex will be participating in 24 Hours of Laser Tag at the Warrington Quasar venue on Saturday 19 April 2014 at 4pm. The maximum amount of time they have they engaged in this activity is 12 hours. Now they have set this challenge of 24 hours for this charity. It is wonderful that these boys have chosen this charity and are willing to support it in this way.
We are asking for your support to raise funds for the Warrington MS Society Branch who support MS sufferers and their families. Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating condition of the Central nervous System and the branch encourages sufferers to live life to the full, arranging theatre trips, various exercise classes & social events. They also assist in providing neurological physiotherapy, mobility and living aids and respite care.
The branch is looking for funding to provide holistic and therapy treatments for its sufferers by funding the therapists and hiring of rooms & transport for its less able sufferers. The branch also needs to raise its profile to reach more sufferers. The committee would like to be able to offer a permanent venue for Wellbeing sessions such a Tai Chi, body strengthening, yoga & Pilates, along with holistic treatments such as Reiki, which I can testify makes an enormous difference to an MS sufferer rather than just medical support alone. From there the branch hopes to build from strength to strength.
It is a wonderful opportunity to raise money for the Warrington MS Society branch. I wish the three boys all the very best and great fun and anyone else who will be taking part.
