London to Brighton Cycle 2013 · 8 September 2013 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

I gave my poor little legs and your poor little pockets some rest last year but it's time to get on with things once again. So here we go!

My back wasn't too happy with all that running but my legs still have many more miles (even more kilometers) in them. Instead of pounding the streets of Brighton, I will be cycling all the way there for a change. Don't know how my knees will react to this idea (not to mention other body parts!) but will tell you all about it come 9th September. If I am swimming next year that would probably mean they didn't like it much (I will not say which body part I am referring to).

Once again, Mario, this one is for you! Always.

Good people of http://www.spinal-research.org/ money is on its way!

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.
