The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Background

I try and run to get fit and in order to get some variety I
bought a bike earlier in the year.

However I was struggling to use the bike and was looking for
some motivator to get me started seriously. I saw a road show for Wheels for
Change and this provided just the right kick start I needed. And it’s for a
very good cause !

What is Wheels for
Change ?

Founded in 2011,UK-based Wheels for Change is a Barclays
supported cycling challenge, raising money for charity to help young people. To
date, Wheels for Change has raised over £1.5m. Funds raised will go to The
Prince’s Trust.

Where will the
money raised go?

The funds raised will go to The Prince’s Trust, one of
Barclay’s UK charity partners. The Prince’s Trust helps young people to develop
key skills, confidence and motivation to move into employment, education or
training through programmes that provide practical and financial support.

The challenge
100 km ! Please refer to the link for the route :

Fund raising

I need to raise a minimum of £250.

Through Just Giving you can sponsor me and claim gift aid on
the charity’s behalf if the donor is eligible.

Barclays will generously match any amount I can raise.

Thank you for your support and for any donation. I really
appreciate it !
