Story
My mum was diagnosed with mesothelioma which sadly was incurable. Through out her suffering she always remained positive and never complained, Mum was admitted many times to Micheal Sobell Hospice where the dedicated amazing teams of nurses provided inpatient care to ease her pain and suffering, making her comfortable. Supporting with end of life care whilst offering support to the family.
The hospice is only part funded by the NHS and relies on donations to be able to continue to provide the high level of care and support for terminally ill patients and their families.
In memory of my mum Sheila Coughlan🥰
At Harlington Hospice, we’re here to support those in our community living with serious or terminal illness. And to support their family and friends through the whole experience, including into bereavement. While news of a serious or terminal illness can be overwhelming, we believe everyone who comes to us should be helped to live each of their days in their own way, to the fullest. We’re here for our community through our free of charge Inpatient Unit at Michael Sobell House, Hospice at Home, Wellbeing, Psychological & Emotional Support.
