Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in order to help raise much need funds for a very unknown but very worthy children's charity.

Angels without Voices is a project that was set by my close friend Fiona whose nephew Sam is the inspiration behind our inaugural fundraising event for ASSERT (Angelman Syndrome Support Education and Research Trust).  Sam was diagnosed with AS at the Age of 2 years old and the ASSERT charity proved to be a great help to Sam's family and other families by providing information about the condition and providing support and understanding at a difficult time.

'Angels Without Voices' are holding an Oscar-eque 'Red Carpet' event in Glasgow's prestigous 29 on the 27 August 2009.  'A Night at the Movies' will be a glamourous night of live entertainment, DJ sets and a movie inspired cocktail reception.   Prizes on the night for best 'Red Carpet' offered judged by No.1 Magazines fashion writer Cara Kennedy. 

In the run up to and on the night there will be a silent auction to raise funds for this very worthy children's charity, so you don't need to be there to make a bid!  Some of these fantastic auction items include:

Signed album covers by original band members of The Who, The Rolling Stones and Queen.  Joe Calzaghe's signed boxing glove, signed Manchester United football, F1 experience, Bond memoribilla, Mulberry, Top Gear plus lots more.
