I'm taking part in a mammoth 50 mile kayak along the upper Thames.  Last year, we raised in the  region of £9,000 and this year, we are adding to the distance by 10 miles and hoping to raise over £10,000 for our nominated charity, Herts Air Ambulance.

We will be starting at Tadpole Bridge in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and finishing at Dorchester-on-Thames. The distance is around 50 miles, which will be covered over two days of relentless paddling!!!

Last year I took part and was overwhelmed by people's generosity in donations to me and hope to improve on my total this year.  It's not an easy challenge, in fact it's one of the hardest things I've done, but that's what it's all about - THE CHALLENGE AND RAISING MONEY FOR CHARITY!
