Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Having just celebrated a big birthday, it seems good to have a challenge! Thirty minutes a day of exercise will be a good one, whether it's walking to the shops, gardening, going up a hill etc.

Any money raised will go towards Diabetes UK – the two of our daughters with Type 1 diabetes cope brilliantly with it, thanks to research funded by the charity. Money for more research would be great to earn.

I'm taking part in the team fundraising and health event https://everydayinmay.co.uk/, as is my daughter Bryony - she's going for the 10km a day option, and will probably cycle most of it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
